why we exist-
We are aware that employers often seek college graduates with key transferable skills and relevant hands-on experience BEFORE they graduate.
We understand that in order to accomplish our professional goals, we must start now.
We know that networking is the most effective way to secure meaningful experiences and believe it is important to start building our professional network now.
We realize how informational interviews, job shadowings, volunteer experiences, and getting involved with professional associations can often be key in finding an internship, and eventually, a job in our field.
We believe that in addition to the outstanding education we are receiving at Eastern Illinois University, experience will give us a competitive advantage that will help ensure our future success.
We will be what employers seek.
We get this. We embrace this. We are preparing for this.
We exist to share our knowledge.
